Answer:

S.I.(i) =8000*7*t/100

=560t

S.I.(ii)=6000*4*5/100

=1200

S.I.(i)=S.I.(ii)

560t=1200

t=15/7 years

=2.14 years

Answer:

2.14 years

Step-by-step explanation:

(i)

P = 8000, R = 7%.

SI = PTR/100

  = (8000 * T * 7)/100

 = 56000T/100

 = 560T

(ii)

P = 6000, R = 4%, T = 5 years.

SI = PTR/100

   = (6000 * 4 * 5)/100

   = 120000/100

  = 1200

Given that they produce same interest.

560T = 1200

T = 1200/560

T = 2.14.

Therefore,

Time = 2.14 years.

Hope it helps!
