as in act three shylock convinced everyone that his attack on Antonio is without mercy because he hates Antonio as he is a Christian and shylock is a jew..... moreover Antonio lends money without charging interest which decreases the rate of interest and hurt the business of other money lenders like Shylock.......
therefore Shylock doesnt want to show mercy towards antonio realated towards the bond at the public place in Venice....

Shylock convince the audience that his attack on Antonio is without any Mercy act 3 scene 1 by showing his hate for Antonio. Also Antonio is a Christian and Shylock is a Jew. Antonio lends money with no interest rate and rate of interest decreases. That hurt the business of Shylock who is also a money lender. So Shylock does not show any mercy towards Antonio.
