The knowledge of chemistry can certainly be a curse to man. Let's come to think of it friend:
In the near future, we might become more selfish and jealous of our fellow coutrymen..There shall be hatred amongst different countries from around the world, all because man misuses his knowledge and does not put it to the welfare of mankind.
It is believed that counries like Iraq and Pakistan have evil intentions to destroy their enemy countries via arms and ammunitions, bombs, bio-chemical and nuclear weapons, ...
Look what happened at Hiroshima ages ago..a nuclear bomb is suddenly dropped and an entire population gets wiped away..All these nuclear and atomic bombs have been created by scientists to disrupt the lives of a thousand people..! all these are based on chemistry..Chemistry deals with atoms, nuclear technology etc.
so, we see that misuse of the knowledge of chemistry can indeed be a curse to man..
Hope that helped you!
