Explanation:

i) Connective tissue connects different organs of the body while epithelial tissue has protective and secretory function.

ii) Bone is hard connective tissue that gives a framework to the body while blood is the fluid connective tissue that distributes nutrients and oxygen and collects waste product  from different body parts.

iii) Phloem translocates glucose from leaves to various parts of plant while xylem transports water and mineral from roots to aerial parets of plant.

iv) Squamous epithelium is made up of flat cells while columnar epithelium is made up of columnar cell.

Explanation:

i) Connective tissue is formed by the cell and the small intercellular matrix and the epithelial tissue is formed by the cell and the huge intercellular matrix.

ii) Bone is hard and blood is fluid in nature. Bone cells are called osteocytes and the blood cells are called red blood cell, white blood cell and platelets.

iii) Xylem transport minerals and water from the root and phloem transport food material which are produced by the green plants in the leaf.

iv) Squamous epithelium cells are wide in nature and the flat and scale like structure but the columner epithelium cells are same in height and width and cube in shape.

v) Tracheid can be found only inside the xylem but wood fibre can be found in xylem, phloem, inside the peri-cycle, vascular bundle etc.
