Raw data is the just the plain data you get after data collection. Frequency distribution represent how many values are there in a particular range. For example, the heights of all the students in a school is raw data, while if you divide height into intervals like 150-160 cms etc. and check how many student's height is in that internal will give you the frequency distribution.
