In what way is the soil in the delta of the river ganga different from that of the delta of the river godavari​

1)Alluvial soil of the ganga plains is formed due to the deposition of alluvium brought down by the rivers from the Himalaya region.

1)The alluvial soil found in godavari valley is formed because deposition of alluvium brought down mainly from the Deccan trap region which is volcanic in origion.

2)In ganga plains the soil is light in colour.

2) In godavari it is dark in colour.
