In what way the forest pool different from the one which ranji knew the raj pujada desert

The difference between the forest pool and the Rajputana desert pool was the forest pool was very clean and had translucency water and the Rajputana desert pool was very untidy and muddy .In that pool buffaloes wallowed and women washed clothes and in forest pool no one came . The forest pool water is good for drinking where as that desert pool is not good for drinking.
