After the indepence,India witnessed the increasing of industrialization and urbanisation create a lot of job.Today, large industrial houses are as common as MNC.The ever increasing number of industries has made matters worse by exrertin pressure on existing freshwater resources.Industries apart from being heavy user of water, also needed the water to run complicated machines. As we know that almost 22 percent of our current energy is satisfied by hydroelectric power(22percent).Moreover multipliying urban centers with large and dense populations and urban lifestyles have not only added to water and energy requirements but have further increased the problem.
