in what ways are maps different from a globe

Maps gives a two dimensional presentation of certain regions of the world while globe gives a three dimensional presentation of the entire earth. Maps are easy to use but globe isn't. In maps., we can have a detailed idea of a region but in globe we can't. Globes can be only useful to us when we want to study about the entire earth. But if we want to study about some countries or continents, then maps are helpful. And maps are not that accurate as globesglobes because the surface of the globe is "peeled of" and cut along the lines of the longitude. The resulting map is not easy to read.
