Here is your answer
The Nazi’s established total control over the german people by first removing all opposition movements, parties or unions. Then the forced every ethnic german to join a pro nazi organization e.g. the labour organization, hitler youth etc. They banned art and books they did not approve of, they removed persons from public office or positions in the civil service and universities they did not approve of. They took over the broadcasting and movie houses and added pro nazi messages to them. They had the armed forces swear an oath of personal loyalty to Hitler unto death. They also politicised the police force and encouraged persons to inform on each other, taking those persons exposed to the first concentration camps.
With regard the Jews they stripped them of citizenship, harassed and forced them out of business and public office and into camps or exile.
Eventually no one was left to stand up to them as they silenced each group be they Conservative or Left Wing, Christian or Jew as everyone knew the consequencies of opposing the government.
