A felony. If a police officer does it then he is terminated and goes to prison! Not jail, jail is county time. He goes directly to prison, PERIOD. I mean we are supposed to have the trust of the people. We are supposed to protect people and their families and property. Too many cops dont take that seriously enough. I wasnt perfect by any means dont get me wrong. But I NEVER took a bribe. Nor did I ever take drug money found during a search warrant. I have an interesting story in that light but for another time.
