Hi, this your question is a bit technical in nature; but I would suppose that Turtles belong to class Reptilia but their subclass is known as diapsids.

It is worth noting that diapsids were initially classified as one of four subclasses of the class Reptilia,

This class Reptilia all  were based on the number and arrangement of openings in the skull.

Reptiles.

They have a scaly exoskeleton and lay eggs outside water.

These are tetrapod animals and includes crocodiles, lizards, snakes and turtles.

Reptiles are one of the oldest living creatures on Earth and their origin can be dated back to 312 million years ago during the Carboniferous period.

They have mostly evolved from advanced reptiliomorph tetrapods that adapted itself to living on dry land surfaces.
