In 1904 Ramanujan left high school; his future looked promising: he had won the school's mathematics prize and, more importantly, a scholarship allowing him to study at the Government Arts College in the town of Kumbakonam. Obsessed with mathematics, Ramanujan failed his non-mathematical exams and lost his scholarship.

IN the Trinity College of England

Ramanujan had not been able to to enter Madras (Chennai) University because he could not matriculate in English. Hence he had no source to make his formulas aware to the people And thatswhy he written the letter to the Fellow of Trinity College Hardy. And he call him there

He had published his book of formulas of Prime Numbers

I hope it is correct
