Hey!!
Vitamin E is known as ‘anti-sterility vitamin’ or ‘fertility vitamin’. Chemically, vitamin E is tocopherol.
The term tocopherol has been derived from Greek words (tokos = child birth, pheros = to bear and -ol = alcohol). Tocopherol is alcohol in nature and is required for fertility in rats and other animals.
Vitamin E has no role as ‘anti-sterility vitamin’ or ‘fertility vitamin’ in humans.
