(b) The secondary and tertiary sectors now provide additional employment opportunities.

(c) Small-scale manufacturing in the secondary sector is most labour-absorbing.

(d) On the other hand, in the tertiary sector, various new services are developing like biotechnology, information technology, etc. These services absorb the labour' moving away from rural to urban areas in search of better employment
opportunities.

(e) New job opportunities like tourism, BPO etc. can absorb more labour.
