the nerve signals are passed from one neurone to another in the form of a wave of polarization followed by repolarization which is similar to the sodium pump. the direction of the normal pulse is from the Exxon endings of one neurone to the dendrites of another neurone through a synaptic cleft with the help of neurotransmitters like acetylcholine.
