All the musical instruments which have strings, for example guitar, violin etc. execute the oscillatory motion. The object is said to be in oscillatory motion when it moves to and fro in same direction. When we hit the strings of guitar or violin, they move to and fro. This means that, they execute oscillations.
VIOLIN = In a violin the strings vibrate to produce oscillatory motion.
GUITAR = In a guitar the strings vibrate to produce oscillatory motion.
