In which of the basic thermodynamical processes work done is always zero ? Give reason for your answer

Answer ⇒ The basic Thermodynamics Process in which the work done is zero is Isochoric Process.

Explanation ⇒ This is because, In case of the Isochoric Process, Volume of the gas or of the material is constant thus change in the volume is zero.

Therefore, From the formula of the work,

Work = - Pressure × Change in the Volume.

⇒ Work = 0


In case of the Adiabatic Process, Change is the Energy is zero, this does not means that the work done will be zero.
