• There are two types of substances, according to their nature of evaporation, 1) Volatile substance and 2) Non-volatile substance.
• Now, in the volatile substance, the evaporation occurs at a rapid pace even being on the normal environmental temperature.
• On the other hand, the non-volatile substance only gets evaporated when the temperature approaches to its boiling point and in most cases these boiling points are much higher than the normal environmental temperature.
• That's why, ether which is a volatile substance evaporates rapidly but rest of the non-volatile substances cannot perform rapid evaporation
