Insulators are made from such material which doesn’t have the ability to conduct electricity which may include materials such as glass, porcelain and Composite materials. It is because they have strong negativity towards the electricity.

Explanation:

Based upon the ability of the substance to conduct electricity, they are classified as conductors and the insulator.

The substance which has ability to "conduct electricity is called conductors" whereas which does not have this ability is called as insulators.
