In “eischerichia coli” bacteria krebs cycle does not occur in mitochondria
because they are prokaryaotes and lacks mitochondria

eischerichia coli .  E.coli. That's a bacterium. Bacteria don't have mitochondria. SO, Krebs cycle does not occur in mitochondria because E. coli is a bacteria (prokaryotic cell) and mitochondria are not present in prokaryotes. In E. coli process of Krebs cycle takes place on plasma membrane.
