Abscissa is actually a Distance of a Point measured from the Origin Which either lies Left or Right on the Y-axis...

Ordinate is also a distance of a point measured from the Origin Which either lie above or below the X-axis..

Cordinate is a point or location in a 2-Dimesional i.e, 2-D Plane or Cartesian Plane....

Any location or point or cordinated can be represented as ( abscissa , Ordinate ) or ( x-cordinate , y-cordinate )

Here abscissa is -4. This means x cordinatede is at a distance of 4 unit from orgin to the left of Y-axis

Ordinate = 3 means y-cordinate is at a distance 3 unit above the X-axis...

The cordinate we get ( -4 , 3 ) which lies in 2nd quadrant...
