For II and IV id + first multiply by2

(+,-) =2*(1/4+3/4)=2*1=2 (II)

(-,+) =4*(3/4+1/4)=4*1=4 (IV) quadrant

For axis:

if (a,0) => x axis (y=0)

if x=0 (0,b) => y axis

a ,b are + or - then direction of x or y is as per sign
