IN particular there are no such plants that carry out maximum transpiration.

But plants of heavy rainforests carry out lot of transpiration due to there location in the tropics .

  • Water first transports passively through roots and then into xylem vessels .
  • The presence of force of cohesion and adhesion in xylem vessels helps the movement.
  • Through xylem they (water) reach mesophyll cells and then water is evaporated.
