• In terms of languages or communities we have Bengalese, Marathis, Panjabis, Marwaris, Bihari, Tamil, Telegu etc.
• In terms of class we have upper clas, middle class, lower class etc.
• In terms of castes we have general castes, Other backward castes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled tribes etc.
• In terms of culture we have Brahmans, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, Sudras etc.
There are various other divisions among the people of India.
