The chemical formula of sodium sulphate is Na2SO4 and ferric phosphate is FePO4. Why is it so?? Explain

hey folk...

This is bcoz of oxidation state of different cations and anions

Like.. in Na2SO4 oxidation state of Na is +1 and SO4 is -2

Similarly in FePO4 the oxidation state of Fe is +3 and PO4 is -3
