The Gandhi Irwin Pact was a political agreement signed by Mahatma Gandhi and the then Viceroy of India, Lord Irwin on 5 March 1931 before the second Round Table Conference in London.

Gandhi Irwin Pact was signed on March 5th, 1931. It is also known as Delhi Pact. It was agreement between Lord Irwin and Mahatma Gandhi who represented the British Government and India respectively. Under the Pact it was agreed that,
1) The British has to release all political prisoners who did not commit violence
2) Coastal villages has right to make salt for personal use
3) Abolishment of collecting fine
4) The government servants who used Lenient treatment has to be resigned.
