★ YDSE :- YOUNG'S DOUBLE SLIT EXPERIMENT....

GIVEN ;

∅ d = 0.2mm = 2 × 10-⁴ m

∅ n = 3 ( 3rd bright Fringe )

∅ y = 7.5 mm = 75 × 10-⁴ m

∅ D = 1m

∆ lambda ( wavelength ) = ??

We know that ;

» y = n × lambda × D / d{ For Bright Fringe }

» 7.5 × 10-⁴ = 3 × lambda × 1/ 2 × 10-⁴

» 7.5 × 10-⁴ = 1.5 × 10⁴ × lambda

» Lambda = 7.5 × 10-⁴ / 1.5 × 10⁴

» Lambda = 5 × 10^-8 ≈ 0.5 nm

«★» In this " YDSE " wavelength is of0.5 nanometer.
