• Using HYV Seeds- The use of High Yield Variety seeds is deemed necessary for an economy to become surplus in the Agriculture production. During the period of 1960s, the popularity of these seeds are on demand and made India a net exporter of foodgrain in International Market.

• Providing incentives and markets for agricultural products is also the another major step that can be taken to increase the yield of farmers in the economy. This will help them to estimate their profits and thus a proper supply chain mechanism is enabled to them.
