in case of y

by the method of substitution,
b= 6a-4000---------------eq 3
substitute it in eq 2
a = 2ooo
expenditure of x is b that is
substitute the value of a in eq 3
b= 6 x 2ooo - 4ooo
12ooo- 4ooo
= 8ooo
expenditure of x is 8000
