Very good morning to the honourable chief guest of the day, respected principal sir, respected teachers, parents, and all my dear friends. I wish you all a very happy Independence day. Everyone presented here knows the reason to get together in such a big crowd.
Independence day is celebrated every year on 15th August, we all celebrate this day with great joy and enthusiasm every year. First, we hoist our national flag then give a salute and sing the national anthem song.
There is a huge celebration that takes place in New Delhi at Rajpath every year where the national anthem is sung after the flag hoisting by Prime Minister. Also, a salute through 21 guns firing with the national anthem, showering of flowers through helicopter is given to the national flag. All the forces take part in parades and give a salute to our president and prime minister.
On independence day there is a national holiday and everyone celebrates Independence day from their places by hosting the flags in schools, offices or society. Everyone comes together to celebrate this day and organize a cultural program. We spread the message of living together happily.
“NEW INDIA” is a mission to take our country forward and resolve to build a new India. PM Modi said we are nurturing our youth to be job creators and not just job seekers. He has taken many big steps for the development of India, such as “Demonetisation” and “GST” which will change the Economical condition of India.
India is our motherland and we all are sons of his mother. We should always ready to save our nation by bad people. We should take an oath today of being highly responsible and well-educated citizens of tomorrow India. We should sincerely perform our duty and do work hard, It is the responsibility of every citizen of India to lead our country ahead and make it the best country in the world.

My heartfelt wishes for the Independence Day. Probably here there is hardly anyone who woke up on the mid night of 15th August 1947 to hear India’s tryst with destiny. We are born in an independent country and hence probably understand very little about insult of being governed by a foreign power. However, whenever we are away from the country we observe that non-resident Indians celebrating Independence Day with more vigour than people celebrate in the country itself. Probably it is the feeling of an identity as Indians which is behind such emotions.
