Yes, they might be in the same hemisphere.

But we should not forget the fact that they lie on different latitudes.

England lies on a high latitude than India,hence it has a colder climate.

Also,England is deeply affected by the cold currents since it is located near the sea,and is subjected to a lot of sea breeze during the day,making it quite chilly.

That is why cricket matches are scheduled in different months,according to climatic convenience.

Though India and England are located in Northern Hemisphere, months of rainy days vary in both countries.

Rain is a major factor that affects the cricket match schedule.

India receives heavy rainfall due to the monsoons (i.e) North-east trade winds and South-west winds, especially in the month of July.

Whereas, London experiences hot summer in the months of June, July and August with almost no or less rain.
