Answer: 1- Though British India did not officially adopt the standard time zones until 1905, when the meridian passing east of Allahabad at 82.5° E longitude was picked as the central meridian for India, corresponding to a single time zone for the country (UTC+05:30).

2- Sri Lanka's poverty rate is low, despite the fact that they have limited resources. Slums and dangerous areas are not prevalent. Speaking of crisp air, Sri Lanka's pollution content and air quality is much better than India. Having less people in a condensed space makes for a healthier air environment.

3- On 15 April 2006, Sri Lanka Time reverted to match Indian Standard Time calculated from the Allahabad Observatory in India 82.5 ° longitude East of Greenwich, the reference point for GMT.

4- India and srilanka follow same meridian
