India has launched 104 satellites till this day and the Indian Space Research organization has done many record breaking launches.

GSAT series satellites are the communication satellites that indigenously developed.

ISRO has launched 31 GSAT satellites to the orbit in which only three were a failed to accomplish the mission.

GSAT satellites have made the broadcasting services of India a self-reliant.

According to the information of ISRO nearly 11 GSATs are currently under service and there are all serving for telecommunication, broadcasting, forecasting, warning and rescue operation.
