On August 15, 2021, India will commemorate its 75th year of independence. The Prime Minister of India will unfurl the tricolour from the Red Fort in Old Delhi like every year. On this day, Indians pay tribute to all the prominent leaders of India who have heroically fought for the country's freedom in the past. However, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no big celebration or social events this year, just like last year.
Independence Day Of India
As Independence Day is a national holiday, all government offices, post offices, banks, and retailers will be closed. The celebrations and events will be webcasted by the states and union government. On this day, students are asked by their teachers to write an essay, and here are some essay ideas to impress the teachers.
Answer:
“India, in its 75th year of independence, by opening the space sector has gifted the industry and the academia an opportunity to tap into this futuristic area,” the Prime Minister said at the inaugural address of the Indian Space Association on Monday.
Modi, who heard a plethora of suggestions from corporate houses including Sunil Bharti MIttal, chairman of Bharti Airtel and PJ Nath from Nelco, a Tata Enterprise along with Rohan Verma of MapmyIndia and a bunch of startups said his government will work closely with the industry to resolve the issues plaguing the private sector. The industry mostly flagged concerts regarding long and tedious regulatory approvals as an impediment.
Modi said ISRO, which was one of the handful of globally end-to-end capable space institutions, would work as an aggregator to help the private sector by lending its assets for the private sector to deploy and further innovate upon.
India accounts for only a tiny 2% of the global space economy and local private sector startups operating in the satellite tech space will play a major role in boosting the country’s capabilities and presence in the space sector, Pawan Goenka, chairperson of Indian National Space Promotion & Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) said.
Goenka was addressing delegates virtually at the launch of the Indian Space Association, a grouping of space and satellite companies on Monday. IN-SPACe is a central regulatory body mandated to attract private capital in the space sector and create a level-playing field for private sector companies.
Goenka underlined the need to “triple the number of rocket launches in India from the current 4-to-5 per year level,” and added that going forward “local tech startups would play a major role in developing/designing multiple downstream applications” in the space technologies realm.
