It is a penninsular country (surrounded by water bodies in three sides). India is a unique country. It's culture and tradition  is followed and appreciated by all over the world. It has all physical features like  mountains , rivers , forests , plains , river basins , valleys etc. The highest mountain range is located in Indian sub - continent (or in the both countries Indian and Nepal).The highest mountain in this range is Mt. Everest (8848 m). It is also the highest mountain in the range. The largest river in India is Ganga. It originated from gangotri glacier in Uttrakhand. There are other many large river in India. Also the fastest growing delta is located in India (Sundarbun Delta). The capital of india is Delhi. There are 29 states in India. The largest state in India is Madhya Pradesh
