India is a sovereign country as it does not require anybody else to take decision,India can take it's decision independently
India is a secular country as every religion in this country is given equal importance.
India is also a socialist country i.e it thinks about welfare of public.
India is democratic as common are the real kings. They elect their representatives and everybody has right to vote. India follows UNIVERSAL ADULT FRANCHISE.
India is republic which means there is a head governing this country but he don't have the absolute power .Council of ministers can remove him if he misuses his power. That head is PRESIDENT.

India is a sovereign, secular, socialist,democratic and republic country because of the following reasons.
1. by the term sovereign we means that we have right to take internal and external decision for our country . thus india is country which is independent for its decision and free to decide on various global affairs.
2. by the term secular means that the state does not follow or promote anyone teligion officially. thus we have right to freedom of religion also we can practice anyone religion of our choice.
3. by the term socialist we mean that the land and resources are in hand of state to promote social welfare. as in india all the resources or land is in hand of government and the resources distributed equally among the citizens therefore india is socialist country.
4. by the term Democratic we means that the government of the country are chosen by the citizen of a country. as in india the government is chosen by the people and it work for the people therefore india is democratic country.
5. by the term republic we mean that hrad of the state that is president is electet by the people. as in india the president is chosen by the people therefore we can say that india is republic country.
