1. Economy : India’s GDP which is US $ 2.25 trillion (nominal) is ranked seventh in the world. With US $ 8.72 trillion (PPP) is third in the world. India’s GDP growth of 7.6% is first for major economies of the world. Inflation of CPI at 5.77% and WPI at 1.62% is well under control. With percapita income of US $1582 as on 2015, ranked 138.
2. India is ranked 7th largest producer of Cars, in steel production India is ranked 3rd largest with 88.59 million tons next only to China and Japan, and above USA. India with cement production of 285.83 million tons is ranked 2nd after China. India has overtaken Germany and Italy to
2nd place in export of textiles with US $40 billion next only to China. India is also 2nd in Global textile manufacturing and also second in Cotton and Silk production. INDIA is ranked 4th in refining capacity of 4.307 million barrels per day as on 2015. Total refining capacity of India as on 2015 is 105 million tons.
3. Power : INDIA with 1,208,400 Gwh as on 2014 is ranked 4th in the world after China, USA, and European Union. As on 2015 India has an installed capacity of 191,663.56 Mega watt. India is ranked first in Solar energy produced in per watt installed. Though we started late in 2010, India is able to install double that of what China could achieve in these field. INDIA is ranked 4th in cumultive installations of WInd Power Projects.
4. Army : Indian military is 4the most powerfull one in the world, with an expenditure of US $ 50 billion, with 1,321,000 personnel, 6464 tanks, 1905 aircraft and 15 submarines. India is also a nuclear power. With 58350 personnel, two aircraft carrier, 10 destroyers and 14 frigates and 219 ships happens to be the fourth most powerful navy in the world. India’s missile technology is one of the most powerfull one . India is the fourth country to possess Missile Ballistic Defence System after USA, Russia and Isreal. With Agni VI India which is proposed to be tested soon, will make India an exclusive part of the club of ICBM. It's range is 8000 to 10000 Kms.
5. Technology : Indian technology is one of the most modern and state of the art technology. India has achieved a very high degree of success in Space technology, IT sectors, Missile technology, Sugar production, agriculture, etc. ISRO has achieved many milestone by reaching Moon, Mars etc. Also by putting into orbit 20 satellites in a single Rocket it became the first country to do so. In 2017 it proposes to send 83 satellites in a single rocket. 2.89 million people are employed directly by IT companies and 8.9 million are provided jobs indirectly. With export of US $ 158 billion dollars of IT/IT enabled services India stands 8th in the world. With $317 billion exports of commercial goods India ranks 19th.
