India's geographical location provides a lot of strategic benefits to it:
1) India is located above the Indian ocean This Indian ocean route provides a lot of benefit to the country due to the reason that it connects different countries of Europe and other popular places with the ocean. Which ultimately provide a huge benefit in trade causing country to have success,
2) No other country has a long coast line except India.
3) Very Successful and most populated countries lies very close to India which is China, Japan and South East Asia.
4) The oil rich countries of the Persian Gulf are not very far from the India hence India is able to get bulk of oil supplies.
5) India is very well connected with countries through airways and sea routes.

INDIA has more than 5 neighbouring countries so it becomes easy for INDIA to transport goods and products by both means of land and water.
This says that INDIA has a stratergic position in the South Asia asked it is easy for INDIA to transport goods via waterways to the countries of Africa, Europe and many more.
Also INDIA is the only country on which animal ocean is named that is the Indian Ocean.
