Friends, everyone has some hidden talents in them, similarly our mother land also has Diversity as it's treasure hidden deep within it's heart , all we need to do is explore this treasure with joy and minds held with proudness.
We all have heard the sui generis word of diversity, but what does it actually mean ?? Any idea folks ? Well the dictionary meaning of diversity is uniqueness but friends there is one more ingredient missing . Guess what ? Let me tell you diversity also includes respecting and comprehending that each individual is unique and can’t have same thinking .
So the nest question bewildering in our mind is where is diversity in India ? Well diversity in India is like a gem in a sack of stones . Our India is shinning like a gem due to it’s diversity . India posses an endless variety of physical features and cultural patterns . It is the land where many languages are residing happily and with joy .
Besides hindi there are 22 other languages mentioned in our constitution . Our country has the strength of 29 states and 7 union territories (don’t we all feel proud to say it ?) , Besides linguistic diversity there is many more .
Being a secular country , people of India have the right to practise any religion of their without any fights or enmity . Many religions like Hindus , Muslims , Christians , Sikhs , and the list goes on ; are residing in India blithely and zestfully.
Now talking about diversity in physical features . On top there are almighty Himalayas , and bottom there is great Indian plateau and Indian ocean on east there is a pulchritudinous delta and Bay of Bengal and on west there are colossal desert and Arabian sea .
Besides diversity our India has one more quality which adds a shine to this gem guess what ? It’s unity in diversity . Although we have diversity , but we all are united and always will be . We need to stand together and act together and feel proud of our motherland and have great regards for its diversity.
