All-rounder Sam Curran played a fighting knock as hosts England posted 260/8 at stumps on Day 3 against India in the fourth Test at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. Curran (37 not out) played a cautious knock to bat through out the day while tailender Adil Rashid (11) fell on the final delivery of third day. Mohammed Shami was the pick of the bowlers for India, returning figures of 3/53. Jos Buttler (69) played a vital knock before he fell prey to Ishant Sharma post tea.
