i think this might be sufficient....
now the scene of the Indian cinema seems to deteriorate day by day. In the name of “gen-next” movies what we get is some sense-less story-lines, lame comedy, loud and noisy music, high level of vulgarity and a lot of irrelevant stuff!! Our industry seems to be involved so much in plagiarism that the stories are mostly copies (aka “inspired”) from some Hollywood movies or some novels, else they are a remake of past hit Bollywood or South- Indian movies!!! If it is original then it will be followed by several remakes…like the case of Golmaal(2006)….we already have sequels till Golmaal-3 and I believe in a few years we’ll be watching Golmaal- 9 and 10.
Earlier, the music meant to be melodious but in the present cinema it is meant to burn the dance floor, no matter if it is banging the head of the listeners with lyrics like “dheon dheon”, “dhinka- chika” etc etc….Comedy has become completely sense-less, repetitive and lame. In name of comedy film-makers are only increasing the amount of vulgarity in the movies, like we recently saw in the much talk about movie ..Delhi- Belly. Vulgarity has become an essential ingredient to the dish of movies nowadays…from showing actors in skimpy clothes (sometimes tending to nil!) to bold scenes to using abuses and various slangs, they have done it all. Actually, the title of the movies itself says a lot about it, like….Love sex or dhokha…The dirty Picture…they need no description!!!
I don’t say that movies should be made only in a definite safe circle but I feel that movie-watching was once a family affair and now it is an embarrassment..!!! We still get some good stuff like in Black, 3-Idiots and Tare zameen par and No One Killed Jessica, but then, it is rare!!! So, being a movie-buff I really miss good movies…don’t you??!!!
