single citizenship is useful in present; as we know people migrate from one place to another for better living facilities. It is easy for them as India is having single citizenship. It would become complicated if India had a dual citizenship. Being a citizen of India , every person can migrate from one place to another basing on their needs ; hence it is useful in today's scenario.

No I do not think that single citizenship is useful nowadays because people now are representing from their own states and not from the name of their country. At jobs in India, it is mentioned to the people from which state they were and not from their country.
