c. It is rigid so that the constitution is not easily arm twisted by political parties for their narrow political gains.
d. Therefore, there are certain provisions in the constitution which can be changed by simple majority of the parliament.
e. Constitutional Amendment Bill on the other hand requires special majority by both the houses of the parliament present and voting.
f. Any changes in the power structure between the Centre and the State requires special majority of the parliament and ratification by half of the the state legislature.

Indian constitution is not fully rigid and flexible. It is called rigid because some ideals such as sovereignty, secularism etc cannot be changed.
It is called flexible because there is a provision for amendments. Some rules can be changed by the parliament .some articles can be changed if the people demand so.
So,it is partly rigid and partly flexible.
