Yes it is flexible because every one have to live under this means all should have to follow the rule even government also but it is rigid because during election it bring the differentiation among the people.

Indian Constitution is rigid-
1. MPs cannot pass a law that is in violation of the constitution.
2. It is completely written.
3. Nothing can be done by the state or the citizen that is in violation with the constitution.

1. Constitution can be amended. With the 2/3 rd majority of the MPs in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and 2/3rd of all Indian states agreeing to the changes.
2. Civil rights can such as free speech can be suspended by the state in terms of emergency. etc.
