Indian Constitution is federal. Why?

Quasi-Federal Nature of Indian Constitution. It has been the matter of debate among the scholars that whether the Constitution of India is completely federal or unitary in nature. But actually Indian constitution contains both features of a federal constitution and unitary constitution.

Bcoz india is a counrtry which do not give any power to a particular religion or a state (in our constitution there is no main or central religion to our country)
