The Indian constitution works towards providing people with the basic rights so that people continue to live in freedom in a peaceful manner.

a) Prohibition of Discrimination

-The Right to equality states that a person cannot be separated freedom another on the basis on any discrimination made on the grounds of caste, color, sex, or any other bar.

b) Equality of opportunity in matters of Public Employment

-There should also be equal opportunity in terms of finding employment sources while seeking for work in any sector, at least in government based organisations. People should get all opportunities. However there is also a provision of reservation of seats for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other backward tribes.

c) Abolition of Untouchability

-The constitution of India also guarantees the abolition of "un-touchability" of all kinds as it used to be earlier. People should be given the right to enter into temples, parks and other public places without being discriminated.
