1. Why Indian Education system is worse :- Education system is mainly worse because there is lack of quality education . and also The main concern of the student in India is to get through the schools with good grades. They memorize everything and just vomit it ( like an anaconda ) in the examination hall. They don't even bother to understands the concepts that they learn. They forget what they read the previous year.
2. Suggestions :-

• Rote learning

•Evaluation system

•Equal respect to all the subjects

•Better training of educators

•Introduction of technology

•Personalize education

•Teach them the purpose of education

3. Role of Government :-

There is no gain in discussing the ideal but imptacticable role of Government in Indian education system.

Ironically enough, apparently the Indian Government is not in a position to bring about requisite reforms to cleanse the maladies, the primary factor being its inability to do anything to the reservation system in admissions. Atleast about 50% seats are reserved not only for students but for teachers also in the Government system. There is reservation in recruitment of not only policy implementors but in the case of policy makers also.

What reform can be expected when merit is being compromised for caste based considerations?

Ideally, the Government should abolish caste based reservation system in all fields including education.
