ethanoic acid is commonly known as Acetic Acid that is Vinegar belongs to carboxylic acid group its melting point is 290 kelvin is during winter and give rise to Glacier Acetate as when acetic acid reacts with sodium carbonate then it gives sodium ethanoic acid with water and carbon dioxide and if it reacts with NHco3 then it gives sodium ethanoic acid + water + carbon dioxide in this reaction ethanoic acid react with carbonates and hydrogen carbonates to give rise to Salt and water with carbon dioxide
