Yes, industries ARE dependent on agriculture but a point to be noted here is that not all industries depend on agriculture. Here i'll give you an example of industries that are dependent and those which are not..
Lyc textile industries are dependent on agriculture but if we talk about the metal industries, well..metal industries aren't dependent on agriculture.
So, i conclude that Not all indian industries are totally dependent on agriculture
